Henyard has spent his career leveraging IT to improve the education experience for students and actively works to incorporate diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts into the projects he consults on.
The project began with a vision to create a scalable digital infrastructure where all U-M schools, colleges, and units can post volunteer opportunities for alumni, friends, and fans to explore.
In addition to videoconferencing, Microsoft Teams is another collaboration tool option offered by ITS that helps people stay connected and organized.
ITS has begun testing DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC) for use at U-M. If this testing does not present any significant issues, ITS will begin validating signatures at the end of January.
The University of Michigan, as a public research institution, houses an incredible amount of data.
