Plans are underway for a first virtual Michigan IT Hacks with Friends event to take place over the first three Fridays in May 2021 (May 7, 14, and 21).

Co-chairs Joe Lubomirski, UM-Dearborn ITS, and Kenny Moore, UM-Ann Arbor ITS, and the event planning committee are developing the framework for an event you are not going to want to miss.

Hacks with Friends (HWF) is a spirited event for all University of Michigan IT and technology professionals and advocates. It is an opportunity to break out and create and collaborate with colleagues from around U-M to build a project (a.k.a. “hack”) from beginning to end and show it off in a fun and friendly competition. Who knows — your team might start something that could develop into new technology that would benefit the whole university!

Stay tuned for more details on the 2021 HWF event, including the schedule and how to submit pitches in the March edition of the Michigan IT newsletter.
