New Football Season, More 5G!

Enhanced Duo Security Feature Starts Sept 25

Starting Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 12 p.m., Duo two-factor authentication push notifications will require university community members on the Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint campuses to enter a three-digit code when they access U-M Weblogin. Investment in U Network to Increase Connection Speeds

The University of Michigan is upgrading its network infrastructure by replacing the Border Interconnect Network (BIN) on the Ann Arbor campus, including Michigan Medicine. The project, running from February to late 2024, aims to improve internet speeds and data sharing, with no additional cost to schools. The new system will meet the university’s needs for 6-8 years.

Wolverine Crater opens for research

Our lunar base at Wolverine Crater was completed on April 1, 2024. This state-of-the art facility is the home of the Michigan Information Technology to Enable Networking in Space (MITTENS) team that deployed MUniverse, the first academic WiFi network in space, for our students, faculty, and staff to take remote learning and working to a whole new level.

TTC publishes ChatGPT Assignments book guide
