Google announces cutover dates for the new Gmail

Role & access management: A smarter way to grant access

The Role and Access Management Project selected and began to create a tool to improve how access is granted and revoked at U-M. The tool is designed to accelerate start-up time for new employees, improve data security, replace some manual processes, increase the ability to track and report on access, and simply make it easier for authorized individuals to access the right U-M resources when they need them.

EIAM Program improves experience for tens of thousands

The Enterprise Identity and Access Management (EIAM) program began 18 months ago to improve how people obtain and use accounts to access U-M services. The program came to an official close this summer. The program’s ambitious scope included the entire U-M community—Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Flint, and Michigan Medicine. The team sought to reduce today’s pain points and to plan for improvements into the future.
