Tech Tip: The Marvellous Suspender

A cartoonish figure says "thank you for trying the Marvellous Suspender" and shows the settings.
(The Marvellous Suspender)

This month’s tip is a Chrome extension that will help your computer run smoother by automatically snoozing browser tabs that you are not currently using: The Marvellous Suspender.

This extension also enables you to save groups of open Chrome tabs as sessions to reopen later. This can be handy before shutting down your computer for the day, before running updates, or for easy switching between projects and resources. If you are a Chrome user, I highly recommend giving this extension a try!

Please note that The Marvellous Suspender is a modified version of The Great Suspender, which was shut down due to tracking issues. More information can be found on Gioxx’s Wall.

What Chrome extensions are you using? Please share them with me via email or in the comments, and they may be included in a future Tech Tip.
