I am incredibly excited to announce some leadership changes within MTech.
After many great years of involvement with and leadership of MTech, the time has come for me to retire. While it is bittersweet to move on, it is deeply reassuring to know that I am leaving MTech in such capable hands.
Please join me in welcoming and congratulating our new leadership lineup, which is effective October 1:
- Aubrey Morse, from ARC, is taking over as our Leader. Aubrey has been deeply involved in MTech for many years and has served as our Chair for the past two years. Aubrey will be supported by Mashon Allen, Chief of Staff for ITS.
- Kenny Moore, from ITS, is officially beginning his term as MTech Chair a few months ahead of schedule. Kenny brings fantastic experience to the role, having served as Vice Chair for nearly two years and as the long-time co-chair of Hacks with Friends.
- Rose Moya, from Engineering, is rounding out the leadership team by taking over as our new Vice Chair. Rose previously served as the chair of the Workforce Committee, where she helped manage MTech’s Mentor Program.
Please take a moment to congratulate Aubrey, Kenny, Rose, and Mashon when you see them next! Thank you all for your incredible support over the years, and cheers to MTech’s bright future ahead.
