Automated Data Cleaning for Sleep Data from Wearables

Automated sleep data cleanup and processing to harmonize Fitbit data obtained via Fitabase with self-reported sleep diary entries sent via SMS-to-Email. This project uses Microsoft Power Automate for processing sleep diary entries in a shared mailbox, and Excel / Power Query for loading and cleaning sleep stages and HRV data.

We are concluding the winter term of 2024. This marks the end of an exciting and challenging academic year for our educational community. There is so much turmoil in the world right now. That is why it is vitally important that Michigan IT is always here to support our students, faculty, staff, and each other. We are all in this together. We are a team. U-M’s Alumni Association Streamlines LEAD Scholarship Applications with Salesforce Integration

U-M’s Alumni Association has improved its LEAD Scholarship Application process by integrating Salesforce. The new system streamlined the award process, reducing overhead and improving efficiency. The LEAD program processed over 1400 applications, and more than 80 scholarships were offered for the upcoming academic year.

Salesforce Org merge yields benefits

In 2019, leadership from the Salesforce Recruitment Org, which included several schools, approached the ITS Salesforce Center of Excellence (SFCOE) and Student Life Technology Solutions (SLTS) to discuss merging the Salesforce Recruitment Org with Student Life’s Student Org. Wolverine Crater opens for research

Our lunar base at Wolverine Crater was completed on April 1, 2024. This state-of-the art facility is the home of the Michigan Information Technology to Enable Networking in Space (MITTENS) team that deployed MUniverse, the first academic WiFi network in space, for our students, faculty, and staff to take remote learning and working to a whole new level.
