The Michigan IT News website and newsletter have been redesigned with input from the Michigan IT News Working Group and the ITS Communications Team.
Newsletter improvements include a new banner with a fresh look. The new layout features three main stories at the top with unique and dedicated looks for the VPIT-CIO message and Profile in IT. Based on feedback and analytics, the calendar highlights have been updated to be easier to read and the order of the categories has changed to prioritize Professional Development. The updated newsletter also offers easy scanning for readers to digest a lot of information even if they don’t click on any of the links.
The website has been updated to reflect the newsletter banner, color scheme, and layout, while remaining accessible and mobile-friendly. Menu items persist at the top of the page, even when scrolling. The search field, Twitter icon, and RSS feed icon continue to be at the top of the page.
