Tech Tip: Toggle ’em all

For this month’s Tech Tip, I’m sharing a handy bookmarklet I’ve had saved for many years: Toggle ’em all. It allows users to quickly check or uncheck all checkboxes on a webpage with a single click. It’s ideal for speeding up tasks like selecting multiple items in forms or tables, especially when a “check all” option is not available.

To add this bookmarklet to your browser:

  1. Go to the Toggle ‘em all website
  2. Drag the link on that page directly to your bookmarks bar.
  3. Alternatively, right-click the link, select “Bookmark this link,” and save it to your bookmarks bar.

Now, whenever you’re on a page with checkboxes, simply click the bookmarklet to check or uncheck all checkboxes at once!

What bookmarklets are you using? Why do you find them helpful? Please share in the comments below!
