ITS recently completed an initial round of communications to all faculty and staff CTools project site owners. Since communications started last September, site owners have downloaded 650 sites and deleted over 1,400 sites. The target date for transitioning all active project sites from CTools is August 31, 2018; however, individual units may choose an earlier date. All historical content in CTools will be available at least through July 1, 2019.
Project site owners can use the project site migration tool to review their sites, delete sites, download content, and generate a list of members. Read more about the tool on the Get Started page on the project website. Site owners who are not ready to delete or move project site content should try an alternative service for collaboration or storage needs to find the solution that works best for them.
