HITS improves its online presence

Health Information Technology & Services (HITS) launched a new website. The new site provides essential information regarding the many products and services HITS provides, along with search options and intuitive navigation designed to make finding this information quicker and easier. It also links to an improved HITS Knowledgebase.

This is an important next step in the unification of MCIT and MSIS, which combined to become HITS, and a demonstration of the department’s commitment to providing outstanding service to customers and partners across Michigan Medicine and beyond. In conjunction with this launch, the MSIS website, MCIT Customer Service Center website and Unity website were retired.

HITS will continue soliciting user feedback and studying site analytics — and will use that data to plan future upgrades and improvements designed to make its online presence even more customer-focused, including by providing more direct, real-time access to deeper content and more extensive self-help resources.
