Think you’ve caught a “phish”? Send it to ReportPhish@umich.edu!
A phish is a scam where a user is tricked into revealing personal or confidential information which a scammer can use illicitly. If you think you’ve fallen prey to a phishing attempt, simply follow the directions on Report Phishing Email to send the suspected phish directly to the ITS Information Assurance (IA) staff members who focus on protecting the university community from phishing.
Reports sent to ReportPhish help IA update the tools used to protect the U-M community, as well as inform the outreach on phishing awareness. By reporting suspected phish, you do your part in helping secure U-M resources and data!
