Interested in learning about digital literacy, facilitating effective online discussions, or strengthening interpersonal communications skills in the virtual space? Sign up for an account with the Online Learning Consortium (OLC).

U-M has joined the OLC to provide professional development resources in digital learning to faculty and staff on all campuses. The membership includes free events and on-demand webinars, publications including the peer-reviewed Online Learning Journal, faculty playbooks, and discounted pricing on additional resources.

To access the materials, visit the OLC website and create an account using your UMICH email.

Support for digital learning is particularly important at this time when faculty and staff are transforming the educational experience by integrating digital learning tools and methods back into the on-campus classroom. OLC is a collaborative community of higher education leaders and innovators, dedicated to advancing quality digital teaching and learning experiences.

The institutional membership was coordinated by Information and Technology Services (ITS) and received funding from more than a dozen academic and administrative units.

Please share information about the membership with faculty and staff in your unit. If you have any questions about the membership, please contact ITS Teaching and Learning Consulting at its.tl.consulting@umich.edu.
