As the next step in a public health informed return to service, Tech Shop now offers at-the-door pickup for online orders, in addition to a variety of shipping options. Online orders can be placed at techshop.umich.edu.
This service will be available by appointment at the Michigan Union location. Service hours are 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Michigan Union location only offers at-the-door service; the sales floor is not open at this time. The Pierpont Commons store remains temporarily closed.
After placing an online order, customers should wait to receive an email confirming that products are ready for pickup and inviting them to make a pickup appointment.
A UMID (MCard) will be required, both to enter the Michigan Union and to process the Tech Shop order. In accordance with university guidelines, all persons must have their nose and mouth covered while on campus and in university buildings; also be aware of and adhere to the social distancing markers provided.
