The ITS Production Freeze webpage has been updated with changes to their Production Freeze guidelines and schedule. The website should be used as a tool in planning for any change to ITS systems.
A production freeze ensures service availability and reduces risk by establishing a period of time—or “freeze”—during a business cycle where no major changes are made to ITS services and systems.
What is changing?
- An all-ITS Freeze will now start on the last day of classes through exams.
- A targeted freeze will:
- include unit-by-unit / professional schools and special requests (e.g., Giving Blue Day, Athletic Events, etc.).
- take into consideration business cycles (e.g., open enrollment, financial aid disbursement, year-end processes, etc.).
