Registration is open for the 2018 Michigan IT Symposium, November 28 & 29, 2018 in the Michigan League. This annual event focuses on creating connections between Michigan IT community members while showcasing the innovation occurring across all U-M campuses.
Can’t miss opportunities include:
- Opening poster preview and reception from 3:30–5:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 28
- Our keynote address by Kyla McMullen, professor and leader of the SoundPAD Laboratory at the University of Florida, the first African American woman Ph.D. graduate in computer science from U-M. (Sponsored by the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion)
- A U-M IT Leadership Panel led and moderated by Ravi Pendse, vice president for information technology and chief information officer
- 21 breakout sessions and more than 50 posters presented by IT staff from U-M schools and colleges, the health system, and administrative and central IT units
You must register by end of day November 16 to receive lunch during the Symposium on Thursday, November 29.
The IT Symposium is one of several activities sponsored by the VPIT-CIO and organized by the Michigan IT Steering Group to build community and encourage collaboration among U-M’s 2,700 IT professionals.
