The 2016 Michigan IT Symposium will include nearly 30 presentations and 60 posters on topics including big data, diversity, professional development, and research. The committee also added new features this year: hands-on training sessions on topics including Hadoop, Docker, and Tableau; “Birds of a Feather” sessions to encourage discussions around ideas like safeguarding research; communicating IT changes; and preparing for future student technology needs.
