Network infrastructure teams at UM-Dearborn and UM-Ann Arbor have been working together to activate MWireless as the primary wireless network on the UM-Dearborn campus, effective April 1.

The change is being made to provide a more reliable wireless experience, maximize operational efficiency, and to create a seamless transition for those who travel between the UM-Dearborn and UM-Ann Arbor campuses.

“Eric Boyd and his team at ITS have been great partners as we transition to the Ann Arbor wireless service,” said Joseph Lubomirski, infrastructure manager for UM-Dearborn Information Technology Services. “Sean [Murphy] and Jimmy [Helzerman] have been great to work with and have instilled confidence that our wireless networks are in extremely capable hands.”
