The very first Women+ Data Science Symposium will be held April 17, 2020. All practicing and aspiring data scientists, but especially women and gender minority participants, are invited to discuss cutting-edge research, explore resources for research and career advancement, and network with other attendees.
You are encouraged to submit your idea for a talk or poster! Especially in one of these areas:
- Theoretical foundations
- Methodology and tools
- Real-world applications in any research domain
- Ethics, fairness, and societal impact
- Emerging research areas
Abstracts are due February 29, 2020.
The symposium is jointly hosted by MSU and U-M, and transportation will be provided from Ann Arbor to East Lansing.
