The College of Literature, Science, and the Arts has worked to unite its LSA Information Technology, Instructional Support Services, Management and Information Systems, and Web Services teams. These four groups have come together to form LSA Technology Services. (Read the Michigan IT News story about the change.) This past spring, Cathy Curley joined LSA as its new Chief Information Officer and was instrumental in guiding the ongoing transformation of IT services at LSA.

Curley has over twenty years experience in various IT and leadership positions across higher ed and industry. She led the effort to create the development of a university-wide IT strategic plan and has extensive experience in process improvement, change management, IT portfolio, program and project management, coaching, and mentoring. Curley recently sat down for an interview with Teri Horton, a senior instructional consultant with LSA, to discuss her new role as CIO and share a little about her life outside of work.
