Visitors to Wolverine Access this week may have noticed an invitation to try a new version of the gateway to many university systems and resources. Because the current platform is out of date by today’s standards, ITS has pursued an alternate technology for a new Wolverine Access gateway built on a more modern, secure technology platform called OneCampus.
The new Wolverine Access is designed to reduce the number of clicks needed to access U-M resources that individuals use the most, improve search capabilities within the U-M digital universe, and provide a customizable and mobile-friendly design. ITS plans to transition Wolverine Access to this new look in late summer, although visitors to the site will have the option to revert back to the “classic” Wolverine Access until 2021.
