IT staff tour All Hands Active April 21

IT Innovation at Lunch, a professional group organized by ITS staff but open to the Michigan IT community, will tour All Hands Active, Ann Arbor’s Makerspace, on April 21. The group will host 15–20 minute tours of the space and its onsite capabilities.

All Hands Active is a nonprofit community workspace that brings together technology professionals, local students, hobbyists, and enthusiasts to share knowledge and access high-tech tools. Most of the equipment in AHA is owned communally, including 3D printers, a full-spectrum laser cutter, silkscreen printer, and metal milling machine.

IT Innovation at Lunch aims to:

  • Expose staff to new or unfamiliar technologies during brown bag lunches
  • Create informal connections in the spirit of Michigan IT
  • Facilitate solving cross-organization problems
  • Connect staff through tours of university resources
