The latest event in the U-M AI Summit Series will bring together scholars and experts with sharply different perspectives to examine AI’s immediate and long-term risks, potential benefits, and effects on human agency. This summit will explore which concerns demand urgent attention, which claims run ahead of the evidence, and how society can advance human-centered AI without becoming complacent or giving in to panic. Seating is limited to 120 people, and refreshments will be provided.
