Sign Up For March Business Objects Trainings

The ITS Data Science Practice team is offering two Business Objects 4.3 training sessions via Zoom on March 10, 2026 — one covering fundamentals and intermediate skills in the morning, and an advanced session in the afternoon. These workshops feature hands-on practice and helpful tips for connecting, creating, customizing, and exporting reports. Participants will engage in hands-on practice and are encouraged to review My LINC and Business Objects User Resources before attending. Registration is required on Sessions @ Michigan, and the classes will only proceed if at least 10 participants enroll.

Business Objects 4.3 Training Details

Morning Session

  • What: Business Objects 4.3 Fundamentals and Intermediate Level
  • When: March 10, 2026, 8:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
  • Where: Zoom

Topics Covered: This Zoom training covers Business Objects fundamentals and intermediate skills, including connecting and running reports, report creation and customization, practical query and export techniques, scheduling, calculations, and production support. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises to help them perform basic and intermediate level tasks in Business Objects.

Afternoon Session

  • What: Business Objects 4.3 Advanced Level
  • When: March 10, 2026, 1:15 p.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Where: Zoom

Topics Covered: This Zoom training introduces both fundamental and intermediate Business Objects skills, including connecting to BO, using the 4.3 Launchpad, creating and customizing reports, and applying intermediate techniques like scheduling, calculations, and input controls.

Reminder: A minimum of 10 registrations is required for the classes to proceed. Participants will be notified in advance if the minimum number is not met.
