The most significant step the Michigan Medicine community can take to protect their data, as well as that of our patients and research participants, is to\u00a0<a class=\"ext\" href=\"https:\/\/www.safecomputing.umich.edu\/two-factor-authentication\/turn-on-weblogin\">use Duo with all web-based services that require U-M login<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While 26,000 Michigan Medicine employees currently use Duo two-factor in some form, only 5,000 employees use it for all the services they log into via Weblogin, including protecting their payroll auto-deposit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"news-content-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"paragraphs-items paragraphs-items-field-content paragraphs-items-field-content-full paragraphs-items-full\">\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-content field-type-paragraphs field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"entity entity-paragraphs-item paragraphs-item-content paragraphs-item-807\">\n<div class=\"content\">\n<div class=\"field field-name-field-shared-content field-type-text-long field-label-hidden\">\n<p><strong>Michigan Medicine will turn on two-factor for Weblogin for all of its employees and sponsored affiliates (anyone with level-2 credentials) on October 10<\/strong>.
