There\u2019s been a lot of interest in the New Gmail interface, but until now a timeline for launch had not been firmly established. The timeline looks like this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>July 2018:<\/strong> Official launch of new GMail interface.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Two months after launch (September):<\/strong> Google automatically switches everyone to new Gmail. You can still opt back to \u201cClassic Gmail\u201d for one month<\/li>\n<li><strong>Three months after launch (October):<\/strong> Everyone permanently switched to New Gmail.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please note:\u00a0<\/strong>Google could change their above estimated timeline at any time.
