The university&#8217;s preferred solution, <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/its.umich.edu\/accounts-access\/uniqnames-passwords\/shibboleth\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shibboleth<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, has a new option that makes it work with additional services. Shibboleth at U-M can now be set up to use either of these two industry standard protocols:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML).<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> For most services, SAML will be your best choice.
