Locally, a GIS Day event at U-M Dearborn<\/a> will provide students, faculty, staff, and the community with the opportunity to explore, share, and learn about the application of GIS to problems that affect the environment and community. Presentations and exhibits will showcase the use of GIS in community development, public safety, health, environmental science, and others.<\/p>\n
