Because of this, the Ross School of Business, which has hosted and maintained the service for use by campus, will retire Microsoft Lync on January 29, 2018. Current users of Lync may consider other university-supported alternatives for <a href=\"https:\/\/its.umich.edu\/communication\/videoconferencing\">videoconferencing<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/gsuite.google.com\/learning-center\/products\/hangouts\/get-started\/#section-1\">chat<\/a>.
