Two teams from Health Information Technology &amp; Services (HITS) were on hand to showcase tech support and research support tools.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/wiki.med.umich.edu\/display\/UMHSHELPDESK\/Help+Me+Now+Walk-in+Service\">Help Me Now walk-up support team<\/a> talked about the on-demand support they provide for IT products and services, including enabling encryption on smartphones and laptops, troubleshooting equipment issues, resetting passwords, facilitating equipment loans, and much more.<\/p>\n<p>The Research Applications &amp; Advanced Computing team shared a broad range of technological tools that support research at the enterprise and promote efficiency and security at different levels. The recently announced <a href=\"http:\/\/ern.umich.edu\/\">Electronic Research Notebook<\/a> is one of those tools and an exciting addition for researchers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe always enjoy talking to our NCRC neighbors at the Expo.
