WESO will feature an iCompute event this year that covers basic computing concepts and creating a simple program. &#8220;I have coached teams for the past three years,&#8221; says\u00a0<strong>Kelly Doonan-Reed<\/strong> (ITS) and member of the\u00a0Women in Information Technology CoP. &#8220;It is great experience and way to foster STEM interest in girls and all kids.&#8221; Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/a\/aaps.k12.mi.us\/weso-wizards\/about-weso\/what-is-science-olympiad\">WESO website<\/a> for more information or contact\u00a0your local elementary school to see if they need volunteers.\u00a0WESO is an affiliate of Science Olympiad, a national, non-profit, tax-exempt organization created in 1983 to increase interest in science.
