(Aki Yao)<\/div><\/div><\/li>\n            <\/ul>\n        <\/div>\n        \n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over 4,000 faculty, students, and staff attended this year\u2019s Researchpalooza on August 16, 2017, many of whom visited the Health Information Technology &amp; Services (HITS) booth. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The HITS Research Applications and Advanced Computing team shared a broad range of technological tools that enable research at the enterprise and individual levels with efficiency and security.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Central biorepository\u2014annotated, accredited biospecimen management<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Electronic Research Notebook\u2014creates, manages, and accesses data and lab records across any platform <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SignNow\u2014the new cloud-based, e-signature service pilot <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LabRATS\u2014leverages enterprise services, aligns secure and appropriate solutions, and enables research <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MiChart Research\u2014assists with all aspects of the electronic medical record including recruitment, ordering, and tip sheets<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Network Admission Control and Inventory Management\u2014ensuring encrypted, protected, and secure wired and wireless networks<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OnCore Clinical Trials Management System\u2014manage administrative, regulatory, nancial, and clinical functions <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Research Investigator Package\u2014will soon offer a suite of research computation services<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cResearchpalooza is always a great way to engage faculty and staff. We were happy to have so many participants stop by our booth! It\u2019s interesting to learn what research projects are happening, and, in turn, share the new HITS-supported technology and services that can enable research,\u201d said John Brussolo, interim senior director of HITS Research Applications &amp; Advanced Computing division.\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe\u2019re grateful to hear from a lot of researchers about how much they rely on and appreciate HITS services.
