During fall and winter terms, you may request a ride through the TapRide mobile application:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Download for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.totuit.tapride&amp;hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Android<\/a> or for <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/tapride\/id609364742?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">iTunes<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Select &#8220;University of Michigan SafeRide&#8221; from with the app.<\/li>\n<li>Login with your UMICH username and password to request a ride and view estimated wait times.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The free SafeRide service is available to all U-M faculty, staff and students, and provides rides within a one-mile radius of the Central and North campuses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In an effort to meet increased requests from the university community, SafeRide recently launched a mobile application.
