Powered by Kaltura, <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/its.umich.edu\/mivideo\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MiVideo<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is U-M&#8217;s cloud-based media streaming and content management service used by faculty, students, and staff to organize, catalog, share, search, and publish multimedia content. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MiVideo service managers Melinda Kraft and Britain Woodman hosted the event, which kicked off with a presentation by Kaltura customer service manager Anna Connaughton. She revealed a product roadmap of expected releases in the next 12\u201318 months. Administrators appreciated the opportunity to ask questions and provided personal insight into their experiences using various aspects of the service. The remainder of the afternoon was devoted to use case demonstrations by attendees. Interest in the service continues to grow and I expect to see even higher levels of usage in the coming academic year. The School of Education's Teaching & Learning Exploratory also announced the integration of their MiVideo Mediaspace with the PlayPosit service.
