As students and faculty get into the excitement of being back on campus and start to settle into the semester, it\u2019s time to remind the U-M community of their shared responsibility to take steps to protect themselves and the university.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>View and share the <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/DYMf6J06kDg\">Securing the University of Michigan video<\/a>, which explores the cyberthreats we all face and the actions the university takes to protect its resources, data, and the U-M community.<br><\/li><li>Secure devices and strong passwords are the best defense against unauthorized access to data and resources. Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/safecomputing.umich.edu\/protect-yourself\/manage-your-passwords?nav\">Manage Your Passwords<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/safecomputing.umich.edu\/protect-yourself\/secure-your-devices\">Secure Your Devices<\/a> to refresh your knowledge and help others stay safe.<br><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/safecomputing.umich.edu\/protect-the-u\/safely-use-sensitive-data\/protect-sensitive-data\">Protecting sensitive data<\/a> is a responsibility of every member of the U-M community.
