Whether you are heading on a long vacation or a quick professional trip, you will likely take along some combination of a smartphone, tablet, laptop, and other mobile devices. Follow these tips to safeguard both your own and the university&#8217;s data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Before You Travel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Require a password, passcode, or PIN for access to your device, and set the screen to lock after 15 or fewer minutes of inactivity.<\/li><li>Turn on the app or feature that helps you find your device and\/or erase its contents if it is lost or stolen.<\/li><li>Plan ahead for two-factor authentication. If you will be away from your usual Duo two-factor option, set up an option in advance to use when traveling.
