Located just inside the glass doors to our public library space on the U-M medical campus, the Anatomage Table is also powered by a new PC. It now runs Windows 10, supports the latest rendering options, and is faster than ever. For additional access, THSL is continuing to offer the Anatomage TableOnCloud online subscription to all U-M users. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Media &amp; Learning Technologies Specialist, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lib.umich.edu\/users\/annepz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kai Donovan<\/a>, is available on Zoom for training to help introduce all of the new Table 8 features. Email <a href=\"mailto:thl-anatomage-help@umich.edu\">thl-anatomage-help@umich.edu<\/a> to set up a TableOnCloud demonstration or Anatomage Table training session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The online version of the Anatomage Table, TableOnCloud, is available to all campuses (Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Flint, and Michigan Medicine). Uniqnames and UMICH (Level-1) credentials are required for Anatomage Table and TableOnCloud reservations. More information is available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/search.lib.umich.edu\/databases\/record\/48796\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University Library Catalog<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exciting new Table 8 software features&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are a number of new features available with the latest update. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Living anatomy: cardiological function<\/li><li>Digital pregnancy&nbsp;<\/li><li>High-resolution regional anatomy fetus<\/li><li>Kinetically functional bodies&nbsp;<\/li><li>Optics simulation and optometry applications&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to those listed above, there are a number of features that remain available: four fully segmented real human cadavers, fully dissectible dog and cat models, a case library with human and animal pathologies, and dissection tools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to get the most out of your experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check out Anatomage\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/G1ku4uhK7O0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Table 8 video<\/a> (above), <a href=\"https:\/\/app.box.com\/s\/ulykfpvog6kpeniowy679iutlintmq5s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Table 8 Activities folder<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/app.box.com\/s\/20ut0905k3e4pe2otuqwp4jefrucjo4u\/file\/868534424671\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Anatomage Table 8 User Interface Guide<\/a> to see how you can use the Table 8 software in your curriculum. For additional resources on how to use Table 8, such as How To Guides and tool specific videos, explore<a href=\"https:\/\/app.box.com\/s\/20ut0905k3e4pe2otuqwp4jefrucjo4u\/folder\/147222531715\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Anatomage\u2019s Table 8 Training Resources<\/a>. You can also load your own <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/DICOM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DICOM<\/a> (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) data, such as patient CT and MRI scans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For TableOnCloud instruction and group projects, you may use video conferencing apps, like Zoom, to share your computer screen with colleagues, students, or classmates. The <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1kSexNkNMOAYp5QHWqQ47lisnbNeUtpnpyBut0J1sV28\/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TableOnCloud Tips<\/a> sheet has some great suggestions on how to effectively use TableOnCloud for group projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anatomage Table and TableOnCloud screenshot images can be used in publications, and Anatomage is happy to help you secure a license. The images may also be used freely in campus patient education materials as long as Anatomage is cited as the source.
