A new date for the upgrade will be announced soon.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1990 size-medium alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/michigan.it.umich.edu\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/mpathways-tile-nav-300x252.png\" alt=\"Screenshot of new M-Pathways tile navigation.\" width=\"300\" height=\"252\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ITS is upgrading the PeopleTools technology behind M-Pathways to version 8.55. This upgrade will bring a new look and feel to navigation within M-Pathways. <\/span>This change will impact everyone who uses Wolverine Access at the university. On <strong>March 6<\/strong>\u00a0the new navigation will be available for the Human Resource Management System and Employee Self-Service. The same options and services available today will still be available after the upgrades. Some new features available with this upgrade include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More user-friendly navigation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tiles that provide quick access to targeted transactions<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Customizable homepages (collection of tiles)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Navigation to pages will still be available without using tiles. A menu-style navigation, similar to the current system, will be available through the Navigator under the NavBar button in the upper right-hand corner. If Favorites exist in the current system, those will also be available under the NavBar button. To<\/span>\u00a0upgrade the system, the following planned outage will occur:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">M-Pathways Human Resource Management System will be unavailable from <\/span><b>7 p.m., Saturday, March 4, to 12 p.m., Sunday, March 5<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, while the system is upgraded.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For more information, see the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mais.umich.edu\/upgrades\/peopletools\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PeopleTools 8.55 Upgrade website<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
