Sloan Foundation\u2019s Net-Zero and Negative Emissions Technologies Request for Proposals (RFP).<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ellis\u2019s team will research ways in which carbon dioxide can be utilized for geothermal energy production and renewable energy storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The RFP received nearly eighty submissions, and Ellis\u2019s team is one of four to be awarded a grant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project proposal is republished from the <a href=\"https:\/\/sloan.org\/\">Alfred P.
