I was recently asked how to add formatting to some of the text fields within the Google Forms editor. The fields do not include a visual editor nor do they accept HTML. How can you bold, italicize, or underline the text? Fortunately, there’s a workaround available. This tool is only one of many, but I like its simplicity. There are also apps available for mobile devices and you can even use keyboard shortcuts, if you really know what you’re doing. The “secret” is to use Unicode<\/a> characters, and tools like this one will convert your text for you. The newly formatted text can then be used elsewhere like in a Google Form, text message, or social media post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
