The new system will enable riders to see university bus locations in real-time and predicts precise arrival times for every campus route and stop. The old (DoubleMap) system will remain live until February 29, 2020.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Riders will enjoy a number of new features, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ability to sign up for text service and prediction alerts by route, stop and times of day<\/li><li>More accurate prediction algorithm which utilizes both schedule data and historical data <\/li><li>Desktop and mobile applications built on the Google Maps platform<\/li><li>Automated stop announcements, so you\u2019ll always know what stop you\u2019re at and what is coming up next<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Riders can use the <a href=\"https:\/\/mbus.ltp.umich.edu\/map\">interactive map<\/a> to see real-time bus locations and arrival predictions or download the U-M Magic Bus app by searching \u2018U-M Magic Bus\u2019 at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/u-m-magic-bus\/id1487246412\">Apple Store<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=edu.umich.bustime.app\">Google Play<\/a>.
