This applies to physical servers that you manage as well as virtual servers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/its.umich.edu\/enterprise\/data-database\/miserver\">MiServer<\/a> users are asked to review the options in<a href=\"https:\/\/documentation.its.umich.edu\/node\/1060\"> OS replacement options for managed Windows Servers<\/a> to help in selecting an upgrade option. Side-by-side system replacement is the preferred MiServer upgrade method.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If it is not possible for you to upgrade, begin planning how you will mitigate in other ways. For example, you might remove your device from all networks or isolate it on a protected network and restrict access.
