The artists ask us to consider: \u201cWhat separates human beings from the technology we create and use?\u201d&nbsp;The Catalan-based artists and self-identified cyborgs are influencers in the global cyborg art movement who&nbsp;use the internet as a sense to fuel perception, understanding, and self expression.<\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/safecomputing.umich.edu\/events\/dissonance\/cities-will-walk-away\">September 19, 2019: The Cities That Will Walk Away<\/a><\/strong> The Penny Stamps Speaker Series, along with co-sponsor Dissonance, presents&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/stamps.umich.edu\/stamps\/detail\/vinay-gupta\"><strong>The Cities That Will Walk Away\u200b<\/strong>,&nbsp;with featured speaker&nbsp;<strong>Vinay Gupta<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;Gupta is CEO of Mattereum, an engineer, strategist, digital visionary, and future-builder who has worked to address a wide range of&nbsp;complex challenges and opportunities facing the 21st century.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dissonance Event Series is a collaboration of faculty, staff, and students from several supporting organizations across the university. In addition to hosting events throughout the academic year, Dissonance co-sponsors events across campus.
