At the top of our Events page<\/a> you’ll find a calendar of events. It pulls together several calendars of IT-related activities on campus, and it will continue to grow to become more representative of happenings across the Michigan Technology Community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Michigan Technology Community News & Events<\/strong>\u2014A calendar curated by the editors of this website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. U-M Events<\/strong>\u2014A feed of events tagged with \u201cInformation and technology\u201d<\/a>\u00a0on the U-M Events Calendar, aka Happenings @ Michigan. The calendar contains events sponsored by registered student organizations and university departments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Communities of Practice Meetings<\/strong>\u2014Communities of Practice (CoPs)<\/a> share information, experiences, and ideas around a particular IT topic in support of the university\u2019s missions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Safe Computing Events<\/strong>\u2014A feed of IT security and privacy events at U-M and elsewhere. Also seen on the Safe Computing website<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Calendar features<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    • At the top left, use the left\/right navigation arrows or the scroll bar\u00a0to move through time. \u201cToday\u201d brings you back to the present.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Use the right-side tabs to switch among Week, Month, and Agenda views (Agenda is the default).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Toggle entire calendars on or off using the menu button at the top right (down arrow).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Click any event and choose \u201cmore details\u201d or \u201ccopy to my calendar\u201d to open Google Calendar in a new window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • At the bottom right, click the \u201c+ Google Calendar\u201d button to add entire calendars to your Google Calendar account where they can be toggled on or off.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
