See the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/its.umich.edu\/enterprise\/wifi-networks\/device-compatibility-guide-msetup\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ITS Device Compatibility Guide<\/a>\u00a0for more detail.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><b>How does MSetup work?<\/b><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">new MSetup webpage<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/msetup.its.umich.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/msetup.its.umich.edu<\/a>\u2014is the starting point to connect all devices to U-M WiFi networks. Traditional devices like laptops and smartphones will be configured for MWireless and Eduroam, while other devices will connect to the MSetup network. Connecting to the \u201cMSetup\u201d network from a laptop or smartphone will display a popup window with the same webpage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A resource on the ITS Documentation website,\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/documentation.its.umich.edu\/node\/946\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MSetup Device Registration<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, contains more detail about how MSetup works.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Note: MiWorkspace customers should not run the WiFi Setup Tool that can be accessed from MSetup on their university-managed laptops.<\/b><\/p>\n<h1><b>Contact ITS for assistance or questions<\/b><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ITS wants to know about any issues you encounter with MSetup.
