The <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ncrc.umich.edu\/events\/201810\/ncrc-expo\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">6th Annual North Campus Research Complex (NCRC) Expo<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> was on October 16, 2018, and brought together hundreds of researchers and their NCRC partners, including Health Information Technology and Services (HITS). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/ncrc.umich.edu\/about-ncrc\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NCRC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is a place of fast-paced scientific discovery that lead to improvements in health and well-being, and HITS is pleased to support researchers with tech tools and general IT support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Customer relationship manager <\/span><b>Aubrey Theisen<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> said, \u201cThe NCRC Expo is a great opportunity to get to know our customers! We can also spread the word about which wireless network is best to use and why, and let people how HITS can help them.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Debra McCaffrey, Ph.D.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, research computing liaison, commented, \u201cThe research IT teams understand that researchers have unique needs, and the Expo is a good way to share research-specific services. It\u2019s also a good way for me to learn about other research support units. There is always a new unit to meet! It\u2019s fun to see groups that you might not know about, and let customers know about them, too.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Cortez Liley<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> from Help Me Now remarked, \u201cI loved having the opportunity to talk with everyone about what we do and how we can contribute to a climate of success here. There are many resources available, and this event is a perfect opportunity to get a bird\u2019s eye view, a sort of resource map that can provide answers to questions that might otherwise go unanswered.
