(HITS)<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Last month, the\u00a0Medical School Office of Research\u00a0launched\u00a0Michigan Research Experts, a searchable, web-based database of research expertise<\/a> designed for U-M and developed to foster collaboration.<\/p>\n

Several\u00a0HITS teams worked for months with the Office of Research and a new vendor in support of the effort. HITS lent its expertise in the integration of thirteen databases to create a more powerful experience for researchers. On a day-to-day basis, HITS monitors the back-end functionality, and is continuing work with the OoR on future enhancements.<\/p>\n

The database<\/a> goes beyond journal publications and maintains profiles of faculty from across U-M, including the College of Engineering, Nursing, LSA, and the Dearborn campus, along with linked activities of researchers across the globe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
