It gives users a <a href=\"https:\/\/news.umich.edu\/u-m-startup-launches-geopain-a-3d-app-that-puts-pain-on-the-map\/\">3D image of the body to zero in on the pain<\/a>\u2014its location and intensity\u2014allowing\u00a0patients to quickly \u201cpaint\u201d their pain on anatomically accurate 3D models using a phone or tablet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a more objective measurement of pain that is beyond the zero to 10 scale,\u201d said <strong>Alexandre DaSilva<\/strong>, co-founder of MoxyTech and an associate professor and director of the Headache &amp; Orofacial Pain Effort Laboratory at the U-M School of Dentistry.\u00a0The app is available as a standalone or embeddable solution on Google Play, Apple\u2019s App Store and at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.geopain.com\/\">www.GeoPain.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GeoPain, a mobile pain tracking app, launched to the public last month from MoxyTech, a U-M startup.
