MiWorkspace computers already have antivirus software installed, and it is updated automatically. <\/span><\/p>\n<h1><b>For U-M computers<\/b><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Information Assurance (IA) recommends these antivirus products that are licensed for use on UM-owned computers:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Windows 8 and 10. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use Windows Defender, which is built in to Windows 8 and 10 and is enabled by default. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Note that Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection <\/span><\/i><b><i>is not compatible<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with Windows 10.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Windows 7. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection, available for download on Safe Computing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Mac OS. <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Use Sophos Antivirus for university computers.
